RTITB Accredited Forklift Truck Operator Training courses are recognised by the HSE and provide learners with the skills and knowledge to correctly, safely and legally operate a range of Fork Trucks in the workplace. Individuals must gain 22 hours of training to achieve the standards set by RTITB.
Provide the basic knowledge and practical skills involved in operating the Industrial reach Forklift trucks and be able to operate the machine safely and correctly in accordance with manufacturers' instructions and accepted good practice.
A 10 day course with final examination for experienced lift truck operators who wish to provide operator training for their employer or on a commercial basis (Instructors must become RTITB Accredited in order to provide commercial training approved by RTITB).
1day refresher training for experienced forklift operators wishing to renew their RTITB operators card.
For those who hold either a counterbalance or reach truck licence and wish to convert to the other. Conversion training must be a minimum of 7.5 hours to meet RTITB standards.
In house training at the clients premises, delegates are taught in line with HSE standards and upon completion will be awarded a lift truck certificate of competency by Crosshands Training ltd.
