The RTITB Master Driver Certificate gives professional status to the competent driver and enhances his/her image in the eyes of customers and the general public. It is designed to be attractive to the driver (it is not paper based!) and will encourage new entrants into the industry.

Master Driver enables you to identify the experienced driver because it covers the full range of skills a driver needs. It creates a common industry standard, helps with staff retention and motivation and gives operators confidence when recruiting.

The RTITB Master Driver Certificate of Competence addresses the shortcomings of existing tests by including an observed daily vehicle check, a practical assessment of load security, driving a laden vehicle and defensive driving in a single workplace assessment.
